Twin guitar

UK regulations. In 1969, with the rise of the twin-guitar format, Musicians' Union (UK) established a rule stating that in any band with two lead guitarists, one had to wear a hat, in order to help audiences keep track of who was playing which part. Although this performance was in America, by then Andy Powell had found he could no longer play hatless.The rule stood until Lynyrd Skynyrd's first UK tour stop, in 1975. Hostages were taken.
